9 Quads, 34 Players at 2/21 WAQ

On February 21, 2024, the Charlotte Chess Center hosted the weekly Wednesday Action Quads tournament at the CCC Main/South location. A total of 34 players participated across 9 sections, with a six player Quad H.

The following players finished in first place in their quads on Wednesday:

Quad A: Jay Garrison (2.5 points)

Quad B: Harshil Jagga (2.5 points)

Quad C: Eshwar Kothapalli (2.5 points)

Quad D: Diksha Jaikumar and Brent Jenkins (2.5 points)

Quad E: Chandrashekar Patil (2.5 points)

Quad F: Brayden Brigman and Diya Balamurugan (2 points)

Quad G: Vaibhav Chopra (3 points)

Quad H (six players): Rishaank Channad (2.5 points)

CCC Coach Jay Garrison submitted his victory against Arya Sharma from Quad A and included some light annotations. Coach Jay entered the quad as the lowest-rated player according to the live USCF listings, but nevertheless gained over 50 points and finished in clear first with 2.5/3. Here's his game:
