Unrated Practice Tournaments are the best competitions for students who can play a game of chess but aren’t ready for serious tournaments. With morning or afternoon options and guaranteed medals, “Unrated Practice” is a great low-stress event for players with a budding interest in chess. Our best choices for tournament-ready kids are Friday Action Quads, Wednesday Action Quads, and Rated Scholastic Tournaments.
