The Charlotte Chess Center's weekly Friday Action Quads tournament took place at the Main/South location on March 15, 2024. FAQ is a USCF-rated scholastic chess tournament open to all players K-12. This time, we welcomed a total of 22 players across five sections.
The following players finished in first place in their quads:
Quad A: Samanyu Ammasani (3 points)
Quad B: Reyansh Mayank (2.5 points)
Quad C: George Opiela (2.5 points)
Quad D: Maksim Nikolov (2.5 points)
Quad E (six players): Cameron Chen (3 points)
Reminder that all players K-8 who achieve perfect scores in an FAQ tournament are qualified for our NEW Tournament of Champions scheduled for May 4, 2024!
