Five Perfect Scores at CCC North's Monday Action Quads

On January 8, 2024, the Charlotte Chess Center hosted the second Monday Action Quads tournament of the year. The event took place at the North Center and attracted 21 players.

Monday Action Quads (MAQ) is a three-round USCF-rated quads event open to all scholastic players. The following players took first place in their respective quads:

Quad A: Shivadhith Renganathan

Quad B: Atharv Dubey

Quad C: Konstantin Rassomakhin

Quad D: Shrinika Musuluri

Normally, I would list the number of points next to each player's name. However, in a rarity, all quad winners posted a perfect 3/3 points! Additionally, Zachary Baltazar went 3/3 in the extra/"Small Swiss" section.

By virtue of their perfect scores, each player listed above has now qualified for our NEW Tournament of Champions event scheduled for May 4.
