Sachdeva, Alimov, and Meade Go 3/3 at Friday Action Quads

The Charlotte Chess Center hosted the first Friday Action Quads event of March on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Main/South location. FAQ is a USCF-rated scholastic chess tournament open to all players K-12. This Friday, a total of 28 players participated across seven sections.


The following players finished in first place in their respective quads:


Quad A: Ranveer Sachdeva (3 points)

Quad B: Temir Alimov (3 points)

Quad C: Asish Bandanadam (2.5 points)

Quad D: Victor Pohl (2.5 points)

Quad E: Major Collins and Adhrith Srikrishna (2 points)

Quad F: Carter Milam and Maksim Nikolov (2 points)

Quad G: Jackson Meade (3 points)


All players K-8 who achieve perfect scores in an FAQ tournament are qualified for our NEW Tournament of Champions scheduled for May 4, 2024.
