The Charlotte Chess Center hosted the first Tuesday Night Action of the new year at the Main/South location on January 2, 2024. A total of 62 competitors played a round of USCF standard-rated chess, with the top two sections also FIDE-rated.
The TNA is held at the Main/South Center every Tuesday evening, with one standard-rated game per week. The round one winners (and current leaders) in each section are as follows:
Top: Patrick McCartney, Anagha Sinkar, Lokruth Patil, and Harshil Jagga
U1750: Jay Garrison, Mario Pineda-Bermudez, Jayant Thathireddy, Sujan Maddipati, Benjamin Raz, Raghav Keskar, Travis Caskey, Joshua Garber, and Debs Pedigo
U1300: Brian Lara, Isaac Rubanenko, Joshua Wakefield, Vivan Ghule, Namish Mayank, Michael Bernard, Jason Bonilla, and Renato Aristondo (with Nichol Garrison also receiving a full-point bye)
