FRIDAY ACTION QUADS
QUAD FORMAT
The CCCSA conducts a regular "quad" US Chess rated tournament open to all scholastic (K-12) players. Quads, which group students by their skill level, are a great way for students to get closer matchups for a more fun and competitive challenge.
HOW IT WORKS

Players must register weekly and in advance

3 rated games every Friday night

Each evening will be limited to the first 60 players to register

Entries are first registered, first served

FORMAT
Quads - Students are placed into groups of 4 by their most recent "live" US Chess regular rating to help ensure that students get close matchups.
PRIZES
Medal to winner of each quad
TIME CONTROL
G/25; Increment 5
US Chess Regular Rated
Each player receives 25 minutes plus a 5 second bonus each move to complete each game
ENTRY FEE
CCC Members: $12.50
Non-Members: $15.00
