Grandmaster/Head Coach
Olexandr Bortnyk is a 26 year old Grandmaster from Ukraine with over 15 years of tournament experience. He has a peak FIDE rating of 2610 and a peak US Chess rating of 2682.
In 2014, Olexander won the World Youth Chess Championships in the Under 18 section.
In addition to giving private lessons and coaching at the CCC, Olexandr has active YouTube and Twitch channels with over 20,000 followers on each platform. Olexander is regularly on the top ten lists in blitz and bullet on both chess.com and lichess.org.
Oleksander is both a husband and a father outside of the classroom.
