GM ASHWIN JAYARAM

Ashwin Jayaram is a 31 year old Grand Master from India, with over 20 years of tournament experience. He learned the rules at the age of 8 when he watched his cousins play chess and has been working on it since then.

He has won multiple Asian Junior and Commonwealth medals and represented India in multiple international events.

He moved to St Louis in 2014 to do his Masters in Finance and MBA in Webster University, and has recently moved to Charlotte where he currently works in the financial services industry.

Outside of his full time work hours, GM Jayaram will be assisting with the training of the CCC's top juniors in both group and private settings.
