Junior Coach

Originally from Reidsville, North Carolina, Chelsea discovered her love for chess in the 7th grade at Bethany Chartered School. Her math teacher, Mr. Mac, introduced her to the game to improve her focus and critical thinking skills. Within a school year, Chelsea obtained a strong grasp of the basics and began surpassing Mr. Mac. It encouraged her to introduce the game of chess to others and teach them how to play.


Outside of being a chess coach, Chelsea proudly served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, previously led a freight company, and mentored a community of over 200 individuals in financial education within the Foreign Exchange market. Chelsea has a passion for speaking, teaching, and coaching
