NM ALEXANDER CRUMP

Alexander was born and raised in New York City, NY. He started learning chess when he was 5. After quickly developing a passion for the game, he began to play in tournaments weekly. At age 13, Alex became a National Master and won the 8th Grade Nationals.

Alex graduated from the University of Colorado in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. Outside of chess he enjoys working out, spending time outside with his friends, and watching football and hockey. His primary goals are to help others improve their chess skills and to become a grandmaster himself.
