Big Rating Gains at CCC Sunday Action Quads

The Charlotte Chess Center hosted our weekly Sunday Action Quads event on January 14, 2024 at the Main/South location. SAQ is a three-round USCF-rated event held every Sunday, open to all scholastic players. Here are the quad winners:
Quad A: Neev Malhotra and Claire Xu (2 points)
Quad B: Yurii Fryziuk (3 points)
Quad C: Three-way tie between Noor Alsafadi, William Jindal, and Arin Samanta (2 points)
Quad D: Arnav Watwe and Anvay Mishra (2.5 points)
Quad E: Yisen Dong (2.5 points)
Quad F: Santana Wolfe-Hill (3 points)
Quad G: Taksheel Dandu (3 points)
Quad H (Small Swiss/7 players): Srihan Valluru (3 points)
In just Quads A through E, a total of seven players achieved new all-time USCF rating peaks! This includes Xu, Fryziuk, Jindal, Watwe, Mishra, and Dong listed above, as well as Gideon Beamon, the second-place finisher in Quad E.
Additionally, congratulations to Yurii Fryziuk, Santana Wolfe-Hill, Taksheel Dandu, and Srihan Valluru for their 3-0 scores, qualifying them for the NEW Tournament of Champions event, scheduled for May 4, 2024.

A lot of people think Geometry Dash is just about tapping to jump, but playing it well means studying the patterns. Obstacles always follow a rhythm, and once you memorize the pattern, you know exactly when to tap and when to stay calm.
