OVERVIEW
The CCC Rapid - North is a 5-round tournament rated by both US Chess and FIDE, offering a $375 prize fund. Participants can extend their experience by entering the CCC Blitz - North immediately following the rapid event for a full day of fast-paced competition.

Participants must be US Chess members.
Limited to the first 42 to register.
Online registration only.
Registration for each event closes 15 minutes prior to round 1 if not already full.

Registration closes 12:45pm.
Rounds: 1:00pm, 1:40pm, 2:20pm, 3:00pm, 3:40pm
Break between Rapid and Blitz: 4:15-5:00pm

Event is US Chess Quick and FIDE Rapid rated
US Chess membership required; FIDE membership (no cost) will be created for new members.
Live US Chess regular OTB ratings used for pairings and prizes. At the TD's discretion, USCF Blitz, Quick or FIDE ratings may be used if higher than USCF regular.
Accelerated pairings are possible.
Refunds: $5 fee for refunds before the event; $10 fee for same-day; no refund after event begins
Byes: Players may take up to 2 optional half-point byes in either tournament, must request before round 1. Byes allow a player to skip a round they cannot otherwise attend. All byes requested during the tournament are zero points.
