The Charlotte Open Blitz is a 6 round blitz event held alongside the 2025 Charlotte Open, featuring a $1,000 guaranteed prize fund! Blitz tournament entry is open to all players, and free for Charlotte Open players.

SCHEDULE
Sunday, January 19
Register on-site by 8:15pm. Entries after 8:15pm receive a round 1 bye.
Blitz round 1 starts 8:30pm, rounds 2-6 are ASAP.
Tournament ends around 10:30pm.

On-site blitz registration only. No online or emailed registration.
Free for players who are playing in the Charlotte Open.

US Chess membership required for all players.
Registration after 8:15pm will incur a round 1 bye.
