Class Overview
Overview:
This class is ideal for students with prior formal instruction and tournament experience. It’s perfect for players with US Chess ratings between 600–1000 or online ratings between 1000–1500.
Course Goals:
Graduates of this course will have the skills and understanding of a player rated over 1000 in US Chess. Students will explore advanced concepts in openings, middlegames, and endgames, building a strong foundation for competitive play.

Class meets weekly on the designated day, at the designated time, and in the designated location listed above.
Class consisist of learning and play time.
Students may join class immediately upon completion of online registration.

$30 one-time fee for students joining the classes for the first time. Includes:

Make-Up Classes:
While students are expected to attend classes chosen at the time of registration, we understand that things come up. If a student must miss a scheduled class, they may notify CCC staff and attend a different day of the equivalent class. Make up classes must be scheduled the week leading up to, or the week just after the missed class.
