UNRATED PRACTICE TOURNAMENT
FORMAT
Unrated Practice Tournaments are a great way for students to get involved in tournament competition. These are low stress events where CCC staff replicate the tournament setting for students. There is no better place to start competing than our unrated tournaments.

Tournament open to first 50 registrants
REQUIREMENTS
Must be in Pre K - 8th Grade
TIME CONTROL
G/10
Players receive 10 minutes each to complete the game.
ROUND TIMES
Round 1: 10:00 am
Round 2: ASAP
Round 3: ASAP
Approximate end time: 11:15am - 11:30am

PRIZES
All Students Receive a Medal
Medals Distributed Based on Score in the Tournament:
Gold Medal: 2.5 - 3.0 points
Silver Medal: 1.5 - 2.0 points
Bronze Medal: 0.0 - 0.5, or 1 point
All gold medalists receive a FREE US Chess membership and are encouraged to play in rated events such as the Friday Action Quads
ENTRY FEE
CCC members and students in CCC school programs: $20.00
Non-members: $25.00
