UNRATED TEAM CHALLENGE

FORMAT
Unrated Practice Tournaments are a great way for students to get involved in tournament competition. These are low stress events where CCC staff replicate the tournament setting for students.
For this particular unrated tournament, we have added a team awards for those who have more than 2 players from their school! Students may still play even if there is no one else from their school, though they will not be eligible for team awards.

Players may register ahead of time using the form below - no onsite registration
Tournament open to the first 300 students to register.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be in Pre K - 8th Grade
TIME CONTROL
G/15
Each player receives 15 minutes per game (a game could last up to 30 minutes)

ENTRY FEE
CCC members and students in CCC school programs: $35.00
Non-members: $45.00

NOTES

Each schedule (morning and afternoon) limited to 175 players

Any players in grades Pk-8 may participate in the event

Unrated event - no special memberships required; rated students may play

Top 5 scorers from the same school and in the same section contribute to the team score - minimum 2 players in order to have a team

Non-Elimination - win, loss, or draw, students play all 3 rounds of their schedule

Students may play even if no other students from their school play, they are just not eligible for team awards

Great option for students easing their way into formal play and to build team spirit at school
