NICHOL GARRISON

Nichol’s background in both the education and technology industries brings a customer-focused passion with an emphasis on communication and efficiency. 

Nichol and her husband, Coach Jay, moved to Charlotte in January 2023. One short month later, before even learning the basics of chess, she played chess for the very first time at a Wednesday Night Quad. As Nichol grew in chess, so did her passion to help the CCC community, and she joined the team officially in early 2024. 

Besides playing chess, Nichol enjoys relaxing with her three pugs and Coach Jay and exploring Charlotte’s museums and surrounding nature trails. 

Nichol holds a Masters of Management from the University of Phoenix, where she also taught for over 10 years.
