ALL-GIRLS UNRATED TOURNAMENT
FORMAT
The All-Girls Unrated Practice Tournament is a great entry-level event for students to get involved in tournament competition. This is a low stress event where CCC staff replicate a formal tournament setting for student. This tournament is open to all girls in grades PK-8, and everyone will receive a medal.

Each schedule open to first 62 students
REQUIREMENTS
Must be in Pre K - 8th Grade
TIME CONTROL
G/10
Players receive 10 minutes each to complete the game.
ROUND TIMES
Arrival: 10:15 am
Round 1: 10:30 am
Round 2: ASAP
Round 3: ASAP
Approximate end time: 11:45am - 12:00pm

PRIZES
All Students Receive a Medal
Medals Distributed Based on Score in the Tournament:
Gold Medal: 2.5 - 3.0 points
Silver Medal: 1.5 - 2.0 points
Bronze Medal: 0.0 - 0.5, or 1 point
All gold medalists receive a FREE US Chess membership* and are encouraged to play in rated events such as the Friday Action Quads, Sunday Action Quads, and Rated Scholastic.
*Students who are currently US Chess members are not eligible for the free US Chess membership voucher
ENTRY FEE
CCC members and students in CCC school programs: $20.00
Non-members: $25.00
