Requirements:
Participants must be members of the US Chess Federation
Need a US Chess Membership? Purchase or renew through the CCCSA and Save
Participants must be in Grades PK - 12
Time Control:
G/30; increment 5
Each player receives 30 minutes plus a 5 second increment (bonus) per move to complete each game.
Round Times:
Round 1: 10:00am
Round 2: 11:15am
Pizza Break 12:30pm-1:15pm
Round 3: 1:15pm
Round 4: 2:30pm
Approximate Awards Time: 3:45pm
Founder of the CCCSA, FM Peter Giannatos, will give a parent seminar on setting expectations after the start of round 1.

Can't make it to all of the rounds? You may take a (1) half point bye in any round, request at registration.

This is an individual chess tournament with individual and team prizes. It is not required to be part of a school chess program to play this tournament.

Minimum 2 players to make a team and compete for team scores.

Top 4 player scores counted towards team score.
