FUTURE MASTER ONLINE CAMP 2

When:​

August 3-7, 2020

36 Students Participated in Camp 1 - Register Now to Ensure a Spot in the Camp

Where:

Online Via Zoom Conferencing - All registered students will receive log in instructions prior to camp

​

Open to the first 36 students to join.  Students will be broken into three groups to provide a small learning environment (12 to 1).  All three groups will spend 1 hour each with all three instructors for a total of 3 hours of serious training daily. There will also be an online US Chess rated tournament at the end of each day of camp.   It is not necessary to be a member of the Charlotte Chess Center to join this camp.

Requirements:

  • 1300+ peak USCF rating - 1900 USCF Rating

  • Students will be broken into groups by rating.

​

Camp Schedule:

15 hours of instruction from experienced chess Grandmaster and Master coaches.

Will Students Have A Chance to Learn with All Instructors? 

Yes

Will Students Receive Handouts of the Material Discussed Afterward?

Yes. Instructors will share handouts with students after the camp.

What is the Format of the Tournament Games?

Games will be played on Chess.com. CCCSA Staff will set up the tournament and guide students through the process. 

Students will play 3 US Chess Online Rated Games

​

Will The Online Tournament Games Be "Regular Rated"?

No. The US Chess Federation has created a separate rating for online play. However, these games will be reflected on their US Chess record.
