OVERVIEW
A three round US Chess-rated tournament open to all scholastic (K-12) players. Quads, which group students in sections of 4 by their rating level, are a great way for students to get closer matchups for a more fun and competitive challenge.

REGISTRATION
Limited to first 62 to register. Registration must be completed online ahead of the event.

HOW IT WORKS
Players must register weekly and in advance
3 US Chess regular and quick rated games every Sunday
Quad format - students placed into groups of 4 by their most current "live" US Chess regular rating to ensure closer matchups.
Each evening will be limited to the first 60 players to register
Entries are first registered, first served
Quads are for students (K-12) only

PRIZES
Medal to winner of each quad
TIME CONTROL
G/25; Increment 5
Each player receives 25 minutes plus a 5 second bonus each move to complete each game

Quad players are not permitted to withdraw mid-event. Forfeiters will not be able to enter future CCC events.
Free Entry Policy
Free entry is offered to players who have a current live USCF rating of 1200+. No exceptions.
To take advantage of free entry, register online by the day before the event (Thursday evening).
If you register for free but must cancel, email us to withdraw by 2:30pm - 1 hour before game.
Refund policy
$3 transaction fee until Saturday (one day before the event)
$5 transaction fee for same-day cancellations until 3:00pm
No refund for cancellations after 3:00pm
