One US Chess-rated game every Sunday afternoon, completely free for CCC members. This is a great way for players to get weekly rated practice.

REQUIREMENTS
Participants must be members of the US Chess Federation
Participants must be members of the CCC
Players in grades K-8 must be rated over 500
K-8 players rated under 500 (or unrated) - See Monday Action Quads event
HOW IT WORKS
Players must register weekly and in advance using the online registration system
Each Sunday will be limited to the first 42 players to register
SAC registration will close at 3:00pm if not already full
Once spots are filled, players may email events@charlottechesscenter.org to be placed on the waitlist.

The top adult (18 or older) in each section will win a $25 gift card to USCF Sales.
The top junior (under 18) in each section will win a $25 gift card to USCF Sales.

TIME CONTROL
G/60 + 10
Each player receives 60 minutes plus a 10 second increment to complete the game.

WITHDRAWAL

NOTES
Tournament Directors will accelerate pairings to pair players close in rating when possible
Most recent "live" US Chess regular ratings used for all sections to ensure close matchups
SAC is a monthly tournament - the rating report is submitted on the last Sunday of the month, and a new event begins on the first Sunday of each month.
All players must use CCC equipment - weighted sets and digital clocks provided
Players who no-show forfeit without notice may not be permitted to play in future events.
