Reverse Angle is a 3 round tournament the CCC has been conducting for over 10 years. It is one of the strongest 1-day tournaments in the Southeast.

100 Point Rule: Players may only play up if their rating is within 100 points of the section limit. Example: A 1800 may play in the top section but not a 1799.
TIME CONTROL
G/85; increment 5
Each player receives 85 minutes plus a 5 second increment to complete each game.

BYES
If you need to skip a round, you can request (1) half-point bye for a specific round. Byes must be requested at registration or via email before the tournament starts. Once the tournament begins, all requested byes are 0 points.
RULES
Limited to the first 64 entries.
Registration closes at 9:30am or when the capacity limit is reached.
US Chess monthly supplement ratings used for pairings and prizes.
Top and Under 1900 sections are FIDE-rated (FIDE rules apply)
Any games involving a player rated 2400+ FIDE are not FIDE-rated
1 optional half-point bye available, request at registration.
Weighted wooden sets, digital clocks provided for all sections.
Players may only play up if within 100 points of next section cutoff.
Accelerated pairings may be used at the director's discretion.
Refunds: $5 fee for refunds before the event; $10 fee for same-day; no refund after event begins
